Repair Engine Shop F187

This project aimed to improve the sustainability and quality of life for the occupants of F187 by addressing various repairs and upgrades.

Specific Tasks:

  • Foundation Repair: Repaired the foundation grade beam at the southwest corner.
  • Roof Replacement: Replaced the entire roof, including lean-to areas, gutters, and rain leaders.
  • Exterior Wall Repairs: Re-tuck pointed CMU walls, removed flaking paint, and repainted the exterior.
  • Drainage Repair: Earthwork regraded along the western wall to create drainage away from the building.
  • Rain Guard Repair: Repaired the rain guards along the western wall.
  • Window and Door Repairs: Resealed exterior window seals, caulking, door seals, sweeps, and doors.
  • Painting: Repainted exterior doors and frames.
  • Mezzanine Railing: Provided new mezzanine railings to meet OSHA standards.
  • Exit Signs: Updated exit signs to comply with current life safety codes.
  • Electrical Panels: Updated the electrical panels with new.
  • Lighting Upgrades: Replaced lighting in the shop and offices with LED lights.

These improvements enhanced the building’s structural integrity, energy efficiency, and overall condition.
